Access Point
A smooth business Wi-Fi makes sure that everyone can roam around the office freely and stay on top of their emails using a variety of devices. Without any trouble, your end users can use Wi-Fi on demand.
A networking device called a wireless access point enables wireless communication between computers and other device attached to it, such as wireless networking gear. An access point is usually a device that connects two or more different networks together, where each of the networks are part of a wireless local area network (WLAN) or a personal area network (PAN) with the Internet.
A wireless access point is essentially a wireless router that provides direct access to multiple computers through wireless communication with an Ethernet network. The access point provides an Ethernet connection through a wired connection to a wireless Ethernet card located in a computer. A wireless access point can be an external device plugged into a wired Ethernet network, a component within a wired Ethernet network, or a standalone device that transmits and receives data in a wireless network.
